Delicious - Social Bookmarking Site

Delicious is a social bookmarking site. It is a collection of bookmarked websites by internet surfers, who registered as member of the site, but which can be accessed for free by anyone who visit the site.

It is a site where users can tag, save, manage and share web pages. It emphasizes community sharing of what people discover and want to remember from the Internet.

With delicious you can:

• bookmark any site on the internet and access it from any computer, instead of  having different bookmarks on every computer.

• share your bookmarks to friends and other users and get whatever bookmarks from other users, discover interesting users too and make friends with them.  

• discover the most useful and interesting bookmarks on the web by looking at popular bookmarks for a tag to find sites on topics you are most interested in.

What I find so good about Delicious is the ease of finding sites relevant to my interest and having the confidence of finding sites that have the vote of confidence indicated by the number of those who bookmarked the site.  It is also easy to see what the site is all about and its merit by reading the descriptions/comments written by those who bookmarked the site. 

As the number of my bookmarks increase, I grow an internet library where  I can easily access the sites I need just by simply clicking the tags with which I label or classify the site.

With Delicious you can grow your web of knowledge and interest for easy access anytime and at the same time grow a network of friends who share with you in the different interests that you have. You will also be on top of what is of current or hot interest to internet surfers.

Do you love the internet like I do?

I bet you do, perhaps even more than I do, though I doubt it.

I deem cyberspace, the computer and the internet the wonder child of the quantum age. And for me who has a love for learning and desire for God, I found the web like a best friend, family or community that i feel at home with. Whenever I sit before the desktop or the lap top for that matter i am like a boy excited for the new discoveries in the world out there.

What I found most useful as an internet surfer is the bookmark feature at the tool bar and social networking site that provides bookmark sharing of what one finds of interest in the web, like Delicious.

These features will help you mark sites you find of interest but have not yet enough time to explore or one you would want to go back to. Eventually you have a library of your own where you can just click for information or experience what you want or need from sites you have already visited, without having to search again and again.

Most of the reviews I will blog about here are from sites I bookmarked at Google toolbar and/or Delicious.
